Online tutoring by relatable tutors

English and Science are now available!

At Inspire, we are passionate about allowing underrepresented and disadvantaged students to prosper and allowing them to reach their full potential, irrespective of their background. For example, black students are one of the most underrepresented across prestigious universities. We take pride in having tutors from various backgrounds and cultures so your child can find someone they relate. Our young and exciting tutors attend Russell Group universities, including universities ranked top 10 worldwide, such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial. These tutors can share their knowledge with your child, act as role models and INSPIRE them.

Our Goal

We want to see students succeed regardless of their background or starting point. We are a diverse collection of young tutors who have gone above and beyond exceeding expectations and we will show your child how to do the same. There is a significant difference in performance between students in private and grammar schools to those in state schools. We want to ensure whether your child went to a state school or a private school they get the support they need and are able o unlock their full potential. We have even supported students in public schools to get places in private schools through scholarships for academic excellence. For some reason, Black students get lower grades on average and we believe this should not be the case. In 2021, 16.5% of black students got 3 A grades at A-level compared to 26.0% of white students. We can see the effects of this in later life as black students struggle to get into top universities and end up in low-end jobs. This leads to the vast difference in salary where the average white household income is £42,371 compared to Afro-Caribbean households with £25,982 (2019). Our mission is to change this from the root by providing affordable, enjoyable, relatable tuition. We think everyone from different backgrounds and cultures should be able to learn together and unlock their full potential. NO ONE should be left alone to struggle with exams and navigating the education system as difficult and daunting it can seem.

1.

Face to Face Talks

We use Google Meet for our online lessons which allow you to see and speak to your tutor.  There is also a chat option to send private questions. This helps give the same feel of a lesson in person and better...

2.

Presentations

Interactive presentations where students see the tutor going through topics and questions. The tutor will share the screen so students can see what the tutor is writing in examples.

3.

Annotation

Presentations can be annotated by both tutor and student at the same time. This is one of the beneficial features of online tutoring. It's also a good chance for the tutor to go through anything confusing in more detail.

4.

Share Files

Homework will be sent to students after lessons through google classroom or email which should be completed in a week. Lessons can also be recorded on request, and reviewed later for revision. Extra resources for those children who want to go the extra mile can be requested.
